After our trip to Isle Royale our travels in the motorhome over the next month get very sporadic. We crossed over into Michigan and fell in love with Duluth. We could actually see ourselves living there one day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We traveled rather than south around the Great Lakes we decided to go North through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. One of our first stops were Golden Lake. We discovered this was one of the only Leech-free lakes in the Northern United States. We took a few days of just relaxation and work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Golden Lake we traveled to our friend’s house in Yale. We discovered that unlike the West Coast many lakes in the North are privately owned. We stayed at a couple and also found some food and fun along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After our frolics in Michigan, we moved on through Canada to New York and Ohio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
